Just Pick One!

I often get asked open-ended questions like: Which cloud should I use? Which data warehouse should I use? What data tool should I use? What programming language should I use? Today, it's what AI should I use?

Just pick one!

From a business perspective, they are all functionally the same thing. They all have the same market incentives to improve. Yes, I have my preferences, but you can make almost all popular tools work. Pick the one that you have access to today, and see if it works.

If a real problem comes up down the road, then switch to solve it. Often, the tool isn't the problem, though. Usually, it's some form of a communication or skill issue at your company.
